What You'll Do We’re looking for an Onboarding Defined Benefit Analyst V to join our Defined Benefit Actuarial Services team. We are looking for someone who thrives on solving unique problems using advanced analytical skills and enjoys working with various internal partners and tools to support a smooth implementation. You'll deliver meaningful analysis ensuring a smooth conversion, implementation, and ongoing administration for our Defined Benefit clients! Responsibilities may include: Coordinate and collaborate with implementation team to share information about the conversion data, complete data mapping, solve data related issues and load data in test environment. Analyze the conversion data to determine data gaps and develop understanding of content. Collaborate with vendor and client to present analysis and resolve issues / questions. Thorough documentation and communication of data load process, assumptions, and issue resolutions. Identify, map, and communicate ongoing data needs to effectively support the ongoing administration needs. Lead and coordinate the internal and external testing efforts around data components, including active and terminated vested data conversion, retiree payment conversion and payroll set up. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree preferably in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related field or equivalent experience 3+ years of work related experience in defined benefit pension systems 3+ years of previous experience working and analyzing large data sets Experience implementing ongoing data feed in support of defined benefit administration functions Proficient in spreadsheet and database software, SQL experience and familiarity with hierarchical data models Strong mathematical, technical and analytical skills along with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong decision making and organizational skills, capability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to interpret complex plan provisions, and the ability to think ahead and take proactive measures. High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data Skills That Will Help You Stand Out Extensive testing experience, with the ability to perform detailed and precise data validation. Payroll experience or familiarity with payroll systems. Work Environments: This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $67500 - $121200 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
