Position Summary The Onboarding & Recruiting Coordinator supports both the onboarding and recruiting functions across multiple locations and business entities, with a primary focus on onboarding execution, accuracy, and compliance and secondary support for recruiting operations. This role works closely with the National Recruiting Manager, onboarding teams, and hiring managers to ensure new hires are onboarded efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements while supporting recruiting workflows as needed. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple processes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Onboarding (Primary Focus) Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires across multiple states and entities Ensure completion and accuracy of new hire documentation, including offer letters, onboarding forms, background check coordination, and I-9 processes Monitor onboarding progress in Paylocity and follow up with candidates and internal teams to resolve missing or incomplete items Serve as a point of contact for new hires during the onboarding phase to ensure a smooth, professional experience Ensure onboarding workflows align with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws Assist with onboarding documentation updates, workflow improvements, and process standardization as the organization scales Recruiting Support (Secondary Focus) Assist with candidate sourcing through job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels Conduct initial resume reviews and pre-screening based on defined role criteria Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers Support job posting creation, updates, and reposting as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Paylocity and related recruiting systems Provide timely, professional communication to candidates throughout the hiring process Support recruiting metrics tracking, reporting, and special projects as requested Qualifications Prior experience in onboarding, recruiting, HR, staffing, or talent acquisition preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems (Paylocity experience preferred but not required) Familiarity with employment compliance concepts (EEOC, FCRA, background checks, I-9s, hiring documentation) preferred Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Standard business hours with flexibility as needed Remote or hybrid work environment based on location and business needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary or hourly compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and company holidays Growth and advancement opportunities as the HR and recruiting functions scale Exposure to national, multi-state onboarding and recruiting operations Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Gurr Brothers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
