MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Sales experience or 5 years of oncology clinical practice in direct patient care with an influence in disease management and/or treatment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pharmaceutical Oncology sales experience
  • Solid tumor breast experience preferred
  • Experience with successful launches and balancing a complex portfolio
  • Track record of building customer relationships through various mediums (in-person and virtual) and strong sales goal achievements
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Engage customers through a variety of mediums (in-person/virtual), using deep disease-area competence
  • Identify tumor-focused business priorities at the account and territory-level; work with Oncology Business Manager to ensure appropriate account plans are crafted and managed
  • Apply full understanding of the tumor patient journey and engage with key multi-disciplinary care partners across all relevant journey elements
  • Conduct opportunity assessments across patient journey and inform account of plans using knowledge of treatment decision making.
  • Develop engagement plans focused on key account partners; share plans with cross-functional peers and manager to align collective and coordinate AZ approach, and ensure appropriate engagement
  • Educate and engage HCPs in dialogue about efficacy, safety, and dosing profiles for FDA-approved indications to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients
  • Be a role model for living AZ values; diligently and consistently uphold our ethical standards and compliance expectations

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Sales Representative with us, you’ll sell life-changing medicines within one of four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic, and other diseases. Using your exceptional selling skills and personable attitude, you’ll build strong and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers across your territory – from clinicians and pharmacists to nurses and consultants.
The part you play in our business will be challenging, yet rewarding, requiring you to use your resilient, collaborative and diplomatic skillsets to make connections. The majority of your work will be field based, and will require you to be highly-organised, planning your monthly schedule, attending meetings and calls, as well as writing up reports.
