Typical Hours are 7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. * This position is based within Jefferson Regional Pharmacy Department Job Summary: Under the direction of and subject to verification by a licensed Pharmacist, the Oncology Infusion Pharmacy Technician will assemble and distribute pharmaceuticals, maintain records, and assist in the technical aspects of the Oncology Pharmacy.   Oncology/Infusion Pharmacy Tech Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent required.  * Completion of a certified pharmacy technician program preferred.  * Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required. * National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. * This is a safety sensitive position. * * Minimum Requirements: * Excellent communication skills  * A spirit of teamwork and an amiable demeanor  * Excellent problem solving, decision making and logical thinking skills  * Demonstrate an attitude of professionalism and excellence. * Ability to work with computers * Preferred Requirements: * 3+ years of technician and IV compounding experience, preferred.  * Proficiency in the computer skills and various pharmacy related software  * Experience in an oncology pharmacy  * Precision in preparing and dispensing medications to avoid errors.  Benefits & Perks: your health and happiness matters!
