Make a difference The Pharmacy Technician will ensure that medications and supplies are provided to the customer in an accurate and timely manner in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards. Your exceptional skills Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing, compound sterile products using aseptic technique, deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion, maintain contemporary professional knowledge base, participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement. Perform basic compounding and calculations, communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner Your exceptional qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience preferred. IV experience required Indiana State Pharmacy Technician LIcense required National Certification required within 2 years of hire
