Description:

This post will be working to supporting the existing team in the safe delivery of holistic care to a wide range of cancer patients undergoing day patients treatments. The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with previous experience in looking after people with a cancer diagnosis. The applicant should have excellent communication skills. Chemotherapy training will be given but venepuncture, IV drug administration and care of central venous access devices would be an advantage.
If chemotherapy training is needed, the applicants must be willing to undertake formal study to obtain the relevant qualifications as part of their development and role. The successful candidate should be flexible to meet the increasingly complex needs of the service and be able to work effectively within a small team, with resilience and a sense of humor
