Requirements Qualifications RVT/LVT/CVT preferred Experience in oncology, internal medicine, or ER strongly preferred Strong technical skill set and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset Growth & Development At Cerro Alto, we view this role as more than a job—it’s a career path. We work 10 hour shifts and full time requires committing to 3-4 shifts per week. We are a 7/24 hospital that never closes so we ask all of our team members to be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
The Oncology Veterinary Technician will assist in the administration of chemotherapy and targeted therapies while providing high-quality nursing and supportive care to patients. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, performing technical procedures, and educating clients on treatment plans and expectations.
