Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value, and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success. Purpose: Provide vital support to Campus Enterprises and NC State Dining by providing an excellent dining experience for all guests. Job Title: One Card Office Tech Assistant Compensation: $12.00/hr (Tier 2) Location: Wolfpack One Card Office, Talley Student Union Work Schedule: Shift work; 8-20 hours per week between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday (Some weekends required) Campus Enterprises Expectations: As student employees with Campus Enterprises, we expect you to be professional and present for your shifts. This includes, but is not limited to: Arriving early for shifts Clocking in and clocking out in a timely fashion Cell phones are only used at appropriate times Prioritize the client Finish all duties before taking a break Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Print ID Cards MICROS register transactions Answer in person, phone, meal plan, and ID card questions One Card website Chat function operation Google spreadsheet projects Remain in compliance with the Wolfpack One Card Operate equipment and troubleshoot for quick repairs and supply replacement Prepare appropriate ID cards that correspond with classification types and departments Perform batch printing for various ID production tasks Remain in compliance with Wolfpack One Card student employee policies and expectations at all times Essential Qualifications Current NC State University student with a flexible schedule Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Experience with the Microsoft suite, Google spreadsheets Ability to work with a team to serve a diverse population Basic knowledge of the NC State campus and the location of buildings Elevated oral and written communication skills Attend mandatory staff meetings, student employee orientation, and training sessions Ability to lift to 40 pounds Learn, Grow, and Earn More: Gain experience, grow your skills, and get promoted Earn annual raises Connect with other students beyond the classroom Stand out to future employers Build strong relationships with supervisors who can serve as references Campus Enterprises at NC State University Hiring Standards NC State University is an equal opportunity employer.
