We are currently recruiting for a One Spa Café Server to support in our award winning Spa. Regarded as Europe’s most advanced city spa One Spa, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh, is a natural balance of energy, water and heat in a beautiful, light-filled space. The philosophy at One Spa is all-encompassing; down to the smallest details the Spa is designed to comfort, pamper and relax. The Spa Café Server is responsible for opening and closing of the shift, cash handling, order taking, serving and preparation of drinks/coffees and food items and to keep to Café neat and tidy at all times. The Spa Café is open 7 days a week. The opening hours of the Café is 08.30 to 16:30 We also expect you to: * Provide excellent guest service by discovering all of our guests needs and acting on these needs promptly, effectively and with confidence. * Ensure that guest expectations are exceeded and standards are consistently maintained. * Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless transfer of information takes place. * To be fully conversant with all restaurant/hotels policies and procedures. * When fully competent, to take ownership of the Spa Café and work with the Manager to make improvements.
