Description Astor Services is hiring Preschool One to One Aides today! Enjoy working 25 hours a week from Monday through Friday with summers off. Head Start is a federally funded preschool program delivering services to 3 and 4-year old children and their families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being. The One to One Aide is responsible for delivering individual instruction, support, and behavior management of a specific student who has been identified and for 1:1 classroom assistance. Job Responsibilities: Must maintain qualifications in the crisis intervention procedure of the agency, including passing scores in TCI (written) and procedural (physical) examinations. Must be physically capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention program of the agency. Confers daily with classroom teacher regarding student's daily assignments, academic progress and behavioral objectives. Provides academic tutorial assistance to the student as per teacher directives. Utilizes teacher's strategies in keeping the student on task.
