Position Overview The Online Auction Processor plays a key role in preparing items for our online auctions during the final phase of auction setup. This position focuses on reviewing and processing item photos, creating clear and accurate lot titles, and writing compelling descriptions that attract buyers. Your work ensures each auction lot is properly presented, accurately described, and visually appealing to maximize buyer interest and bidding activity. By helping create high-quality auction listings, you will contribute directly to successful sales that help our clients generate value from their lifelong possessions. This position is part of a collaborative team that assists clients with downsizing, relocation, and asset liquidation as they transition to the next phase of senior living. Each project offers unique items and opportunities to learn. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for parents with school-aged children, retirees, or college students who enjoy detail-oriented work and flexible schedules. Location: Beaverton, OR Company: Caring Transitions of Beaverton, OR Key Responsibilities • Upload and organize item photos into the online auction platform • Edit and select the best photos to clearly represent each item or lot • Create accurate and descriptive lot titles for auction listings • Write detailed item descriptions that highlight key features and encourage bidding • Ensure each lot contains clear photos, accurate titles, and complete descriptions before publishing • Review listings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Communicate with team members regarding missing information, photo quality, or item details • Maintain consistent listing standards and quality across the auction catalog • Process approximately 15–20 lots per hour depending on item complexity • Assist with final review and preparation of auction listings prior to launch Requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Strong written communication skills and English fluency Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn auction software platforms Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong time management and prioritization skills Comfortable collaborating with team members to resolve listing issues Interest in antiques, collectibles, household goods, or resale items is a plus Must have a smartphone for scheduling, timekeeping, communication, and project management apps Compensation Starting salary between $15 - $20.00 based on experience.
