POSITION OVERVIEW

Adelman Travel is seeking a detail-oriented problem solver with experience working in the travel industry to join our collaborative team as an Automation Support Specialist. In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert supporting both third-party and proprietary software solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely client and process implementations, meeting defined service levels, staying current on new features, proactively learning additional functionalities, and aligning tools with best practices and business requirements.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND TALENT

  • One plus year experience implementing a corporate tool or hosting application in a travel management company environment.
  • Associate degree or work equivalent, field of study – MIS or related field.
  • Experience in the travel industry with solid knowledge of a GDS system (SABRE preferred) and online booking tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new and ever-changing industry products and technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to articulate and present materials in a professional environment.
  • Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions, ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Project management and/or implementation experience is a plus.
