Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a part-time online teacher, you’ll be delivering engaging lessons to KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. This role is perfect for dedicated educators who enjoy the flexibility of working from home while making a significant impact in their students’ academic journeys.

  • Hours: Part-time, term-time, within standard school hours. Flexibility in choosing your working hours is some cases and part-time commitment level is available.
  • Pay: £30 per lesson, inclusive of planning and marking time. Additional tasks, such as parent meetings or report writing, can be invoiced at the same hourly rate.
  • Extra Opportunities: Potential to increase hours by leading extra-curricular clubs or taking on pastoral responsibilities if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive online lessons to KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students.
  • Assess student progress through assignments and examinations, offering constructive feedback.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive online learning environment.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to enhance curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest educational technologies and methodologies.
  • Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
