OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3/4 English Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tutoring and a strong ability to prepare children for their GCSE English exam. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching.
• Ability to work in a results oriented learning environment.
• Strong understanding of educational concepts and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families.
• Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing diverse learning styles and challenges.
• Experience of assessing English GCSE exams is a plus.

• Provide group tutoring sessions.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with GCSE English Language and Literature exams.
• Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
• Monitor and record student progress and areas for improvement.
• Create a positive motivating, supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
