Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are the subject matter experts who facilitate the student’s learning, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals. What You’ll Do As an OLA, you’ll ensure students experience high-quality, positive learning by: Facilitating learning activities that engage and retain students Marking assessments and providing meaningful, constructive feedback Supporting communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions – ensuring visibility to students every 24-48 hours Collaborating with academic teams to maintain unit quality Upholding OES values to foster a positive team culture and student experience We are currently seeking experienced Online Learning Advisors (OLA) to support teaching and learning for the following units: IFQ717 – Web Development Capstone IFQ636 – Software Lifecycle Development The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge and practical experience across modern full stack web development and software engineering lifecycle practices, and be comfortable supporting IT students in an online learning environment.
