We are seeking a full-time Learning Support Teacher to commence on 20 April 2026 or as soon thereafter. This is a key role within ACC Victoria Online, responsible for leading and coordinating inclusive education practices across the school. The Learning Support Teacher works collaboratively with teaching staff, families and external professionals to ensure that students with additional learning needs are appropriately supported to access the curriculum and achieve their potential. A central component of this role is oversight of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), ensuring that processes are accurate, compliant, and embedded in daily teaching practice. The successful applicant will bring both strong organisational capability and a clear understanding of evidence-based adjustments and documentation requirements. Working within a virtual school model, this role requires the ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and support staff to implement effective adjustments in an online learning environment. This is not a traditional classroom teaching role. Instead, the Learning Support Teacher operates as a coach, coordinator and specialist advisor, supporting staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching and ensuring that systems and documentation meet compliance expectations. We are seeking a candidate who: Has strong knowledge of inclusive education and differentiation Is confident leading compliance processes such as NCCD Can work collaboratively with staff and families Is highly organised and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously Is comfortable working within digital platforms and an online learning model * Please note that online teachers are required to work from our Casey office currently in Cranbourne South. The position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with CEM policy. Core Responsibilities & Duties Lead and oversee the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), ensuring accurate documentation, evidence collection and compliance with national requirements Develop, implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families and external professionals, ensuring adjustments are targeted, measurable and regularly evaluated Coordinate and facilitate Student Support Group (SSG) meetings, ensuring clear communication, shared understanding and documented outcomes Provide professional advice during the enrolment process regarding suitability, reasonable adjustments and support pathways for students with additional needs Support teaching staff to implement effective differentiation and adjustments within an online learning environment, including guidance on curriculum access and engagement strategies Monitor student progress and the effectiveness of adjustments, supporting teachers to refine practice based on data and evidence Coordinate reasonable adjustments for assessments, including NAPLAN and VCE (where applicable), in line with VCAA and ACARA requirements Work collaboratively with the Child Safe Wellbeing Officer and leadership team where learning needs intersect with wellbeing or engagement concerns Contribute to the development of inclusive practices across the school, ensuring that students with additional needs are supported to participate fully in learning Provide guidance and support to Learning Assistants (if applicable), ensuring consistency and clarity in the implementation of support strategies Maintain accurate and compliant records in relation to student support, adjustments and NCCD evidence Other duties as directed by the Head of ACC Victoria Online and the Principal.
