WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SELL ONLINE

Our attractive shop in Tamworth sells a range of donated items, including clothes, accessories, gifts, music and homewares.
Our shop team work hard to raise as much money as possible from every item that is donated and therefore in addition to selling donations in the shop, we also list items to be sold using online platforms.
We are looking for Online Selling Volunteers who can showcase our fantastic stock to a worldwide audience and really help us get the best out of our people’s fabulous donations.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL THE VOLUNTEER NEED?

• Interest in photography (training will be provided)
• Internet, email, basic Excel and computer literacy
• Basic numeracy
• A high level of attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to build rapport with colleagues
• Ability to prioritise workload on a daily basis and work to deadlines
• Self motivation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take photographs to bring out items features.
• Accurate description for listing details
• Packing and sending sold items to our customers.
• Overseeing inventory management such as culling stock post sale

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTARY ROLE, ALTHOUGH OXFAM ARE ABLE TO REIMBURSE ANY LOCAL TRAVEL EXPENSES IN LINE WITH THE ORGANISATION’S VOLUNTEER POLICY.
