Scope
Based in The Netherlands, Amsterdam, the Online Marketing Specialist will support European digital marketing. The main goal of the role is to analyse the status quo and recommend changes to current digital practices, collect and coordinate requirements from and with relevant departments and stakeholders and translate them into digital strategy and execution.
Responsibility

The Online Marketing Specialist has the following tasks / responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading projects aimed at improving the customer journey through the brand websites and e-tailer pages across Europe in line with the set departmental/corporate goals
  • Analyses existing data while keeping up with digital marketing trends to ensure effectiveness and optimisation for inbound/outbound marketing and paid media
  • Support in implementation of the digital marketing strategy across Europe in line with the set department / corporate goals
  • Identifies and manages the data streams within the marketing department
  • Defines and advises the sales teams in countries on the best practices and provide support on the above-mentioned subjects
  • Support product launches and campaigns of all hero and focus products
  • Content management of all operating websites and to be developed online sites in cooperation with marketing team
  • Manage internal marketing data sources, maintain process and references documents
  • Delivering input for data related initiatives i.e. CRM project
  • Working in collaboration with agencies for technical optimization of the website, user portal and product information management system
  • Administration of the analytics tools and establishing new digital strategies based on regular data reporting

Education And Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communication
  • 2-3 years of experience in Digital/Online Marketing in a multicultural global corporate setting
  • A solid affinity with Consumer Electronics products/trends (online) landscape
  • Analytical skills, translating analysis in conclusion and action
  • Excellent command of English language (written and verbal)
  • Web savvy, pro-active digital native
  • Skills set: organisation, strong, interpersonal, communication, analytical, ambitious, planning, reporting, skills and a can-do mentality
  • Understanding of current online marketing concepts, tactics and best practice.
  • Feels comfortable in an international environment
  • Team spirited, with ability to work autonomously and set priorities
  • Shows a positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Experience working with GDPR processes

  • Be able to create relevant and impactful digital marketing plans
  • Delivering input and management of yearly digital marketing budget in alignment with Senior Brand Manager

Computer skills

  • Acquaintance with HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, SEA, SEO
