Mercier Consultancy MD is excited to announce an opening for an Online Safety Specialist fluent in Polish and English, with the added benefit of paid relocation to Sofia, Bulgaria! In this pivotal position, you will be integral in maintaining a secure online environment for our users by monitoring and managing online content, addressing safety issues, and upholding community standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor user-generated content and online interactions to identify potential violations of safety protocols and community guidelines. Conduct in-depth investigations into reported safety incidents, analyzing data and evidence to determine the most effective responses. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to develop and refine safety policies that promote digital trust. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and trends to inform stakeholders and guide improvements in safety processes. Stay informed about emerging digital threats and best practices in online safety to proactively enhance our protocols. Educate users about online safety practices and procedures to raise awareness and encourage safe behavior. Bilingual proficiency in Polish and English (both written and spoken) is essential. Previous experience in online safety, content moderation, or a related field is preferred. Strong analytical skills, capable of making data-driven decisions based on investigations. Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate safety concerns and procedures. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks. Familiarity with online moderation tools, social media platforms, and digital content management systems is advantageous. A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to relocate to Sofia, Bulgaria for this opportunity.
