Furniture World is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Online Sales & Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team in Redruth.
We’re a leading independent furniture retailer in the South West, with stores across Devon and Cornwall. As we continue to expand our online sales presence through our website and platforms like eBay and Amazon, we need someone who can help us deliver a top-notch customer experience online, just like we do in-store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Handle order processing and manage online sales systems
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
  • Communicate clearly with customers, couriers, and suppliers
  • Accurately input and update customer and stock data
  • Work as part of a friendly, fast-paced team
  • Help troubleshoot order or delivery problems with a proactive approach

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Basic computer skills (email, order entry, online platforms)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Team player with a problem-solving attitude

Desirable (not essential):

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like eBay or Amazon
  • Knowledge of online courier tracking or order dispatch systems
