SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and fostering relationships with clients, aligning with our mission to deliver quality news and services.
Key responsibilities
· Identify and prospect new digital advertising clients through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions.
· Present, negotiate, and close digital advertising deals across a variety of platforms.
· Use CRM tools to track sales activity and pipeline progress.
· Analyze sales performance and optimize outreach efforts to maximize ROI.
· Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
· Manage daily content creation and posting across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
· Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with overall marketing strategy.
· Monitor trends and analytics to refine content strategy and improve engagement.
· Collaborate with internal teams for brand consistency and promotional support.
· Attend client functions as required.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital sales, social media management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of online sales funnels and digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of digital products including display, video, mobile, email marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while growing brand engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and analytic tools.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license
