ABOUT THE ROLE

Don’t want to be stuck behind a desk? Have a passion for trucks and machinery? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning individual to join our Onsite Industrial Team based out of our branch in Eagle Farm, QLD or Altona North, VIC.

Enjoy the security of this full-time role, working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (40 hours per week). This role would suit a self-motivated individual who is interested in and has knowledge of trucks, machinery and equipment, or someone who has experience in a similar role or industry. In this hands-on role, your key responsibilities would include:

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock and deliveries for the customers sites, ensuring items are accurately entered into our system, valued, photographed and uploaded to the website
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both our vendors and buyers
  • Conduct thorough catalogue checks to ensure assets are correctly advertised
  • Frequent travel to our customers sites throughout South Australia or Queensland as required
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships through regular communication with key contacts regarding reserves and valuations of assets, releases, referrals and marketing options
  • Liaising with site managers and external stakeholders as required
  • Unload goods coming into the facility and loading of purchased goods onto transport after auction

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Passion for general goods, trucks & machinery, and/or experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
  • Experience in sales or valuations (preferred)
  • Current/valid drivers’ license with ability to drive manual & forklift license (essential)
  • Ability and willingness to travel to our customers sites throughout SA or QLD to undertake your role
  • Competent verbal & written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • High level of interpersonal skills and proven experience building and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadline
