JOB TITLE: ONSITE DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (WINDOWS 10 TO 11 MIGRATION)

Location: Aylesbury, HP21 7QW
Duration: 3 Months (Once a week on Wednesdays)
Pay Rate: £130 - £140 per day

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Onsite Desktop Support Technician to assist with the migration of user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Aylesbury, covering every Wednesday for 3 months. You will be responsible for providing Level 1/Level 2 desktop support to ensure smooth device transitions and minimal disruption to user productivity.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in providing desktop support in an enterprise environment (L1/L2 support).
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including troubleshooting, configuration, and software installation.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and user experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience with Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations is highly desirable.
  • IT Support or related qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to Aylesbury (HP21 7QW) every Wednesday during the contract duration.
