Dalton Net Service Ltd. is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Birmingham, supporting a wide range of businesses across the Midlands with their IT infrastructure, security, and development needs.
We’re looking for a proactive and personable Onsite IT Operations & Liaison Engineer to be based primarily at one of our fastest-growing and most important client sites in Aston (B7). This is more than just a support role — you’ll be the face of Dalton Net Service on-site, building strong relationships, attending client meetings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Acting as the primary on-site IT contact for a key client, representing Dalton Net Service with professionalism and technical confidence.
• Providing 1st and 2nd line support across desktops, servers, and networks.
• Attending regular client meetings to understand needs, report on issues, and advise on improvements.
• Supporting Microsoft environments: Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019–2025, Active Directory, Group Policy. Microsoft 365.
• Working with Hyper-V, basic Linux, networking, and firewall troubleshooting.
• Scripting tasks with PowerShell and assisting on small development/web projects
• Managing documentation, support tickets, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Collaborating with the wider Dalton team and occasionally supporting other customer environments.
