Job Title: MacOS Administrator (On-site)
Location: 100 King Street West, Downtown Toronto
Contract Length: 2 weeks (Full-time, On-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days/week

OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled MacOS Administrator for a short-term, onsite contract to support their development team. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in MacOS administration, command-line tools, and certificate management. The successful candidate will act as a proxy for the internal SME, who is currently dedicated to project work.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong experience with MacOS administration in a corporate or enterprise setting on the hardware side
  • Expertise with command-line tools and terminal-based troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with certificate management and secure networking
  • Hands-on Jamf experience is essential
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a highly technical environment
  • (Preferred) Experience with NetSkope Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    Note: This position is fully on-site and requires daily presence at the downtown Toronto office (100 King Street West) for the entire duration of the 2-week contract.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced MacOS troubleshooting (e.g., network management, certificate store configuration)
  • Support developers in resolving DevOps-related command line issues and certificate invocation
  • Example: Formatting CLI syntax to reference specific certificates in the local cert store
  • Collaborate with end users and vendors to ensure proper functionality of command line tools
  • Provide Jamf administration and endpoint management
  • Review existing documentation and contribute to updates where needed
  • Engage directly with the on-site developer team for real-time issue resolution
  • (Nice to have) Experience working with NetSkope DLP
