Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced onsite Project Manager to lead the installation of engineered plating and paint line systems in Anniston, Alabama. The successful candidate will oversee all critical phases of the project lifecycle — from installation through commissioning and closeout — while ensuring compliance with military standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all aspects of capital equipment installation and commissioning activities. Ensure all safety audits are completed and onsite personnel comply with required safety standards. Develop and manage installation sequencing plans in collaboration with Koch and subcontractor teams. Maintain adherence to all customer and site-specific requirements. Serve as the primary onsite liaison between internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project performance. Facilitate regular project status meetings and maintain clear communication across all teams. Document project status, risks, change orders, and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. Required Education, Experience, and Training Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial equipment installation or construction projects. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance (OSHA 30 certification preferred). Experience working on military or government installations (preferred). Familiarity with plating systems, paint finishing systems, chemical handling, and industrial utilities (preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline (preferred). PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials (preferred). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and installation workflows. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. High proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
