Overview Onsite Support Engineer – Lübeck (with on-call support in Hamburg)German C1/C2 • English B2 We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Engineer to join our team in Lübeck. You will work directly on the customer site (factory environment) and occasionally support offices in Hamburg through on-call coverage. The role combines hands-on technical work, user support, and close collaboration with internal teams. Responsibilities End-user supportYou provide technical help on site, solving hardware, software and connectivity issues. You support VIP users, assist during urgent situations, and help new employees get up to speed during technical onboarding. You also follow internal procedures when cybersecurity incidents appear. Workstation & device managementYou take care of imaging, configuration and preventive maintenance. You manage licences, user profiles and permissions, and ensure that all IT assets are healthy, secure and up to date. Meeting rooms & collaboration toolsYou maintain meeting room equipment, including A/V systems, connectivity and conferencing tools. You provide live support during important meetings and resolve issues with tools such as Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Inventory & asset managementYou keep track of stock, deliveries, returns and warranties. You log all activities in JIRA and coordinate repairs or replacements with suppliers. Documentation & knowledge sharingYou document technical procedures, solutions and updates. You share best practices with the Service Desk and other support teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Strong experience in IT support or onsite support Excellent German skills (C1/C2) and solid English (B2) German Driving Licence Confidence in solving hardware, software and network issues Hands-on mindset, reliability and customer orientation Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Readiness to support on-call requirements in Hamburg If you enjoy hands-on support, a mix of factory and office environments, and direct interaction with users, this role will suit you well.
