ONSITE VENUE MANAGER

Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020, Grade 7.
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Driving Range Onsite Venue Manager to support the smooth running of Deception Bay Driving Range & Mini Golf until approximately January – February 2026 (6-7 months contract) when it will close to commence construction of the new Swing Factory facility.
This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service experience who’s ready to step up and take ownership of the day-to-day venue operations. The role will be supported by the Group Head Office team in the areas of operations, human resources, marketing and finance. Additionally, be coached, supported and report to the Groups Operations Manager. It is a small operation with a team of under 10 employees.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Organise and oversee the daily operations of the venue ensuring a consistent level of service and product delivery.
• Onsite management of the small team including rostering, timesheet approval, assistance with recruitment, onsite leadership and performance management.
• Asset management of the facility to ensure delivery of a consistent product and maintaining a safe environment, in particular golf ball collection, DR bay setup and retail shop.
• Delivery and management of the sale of golf balls, hire club, drink and confectionary products, POS system transactions and stock management.
• Onsite compliance with all regulations including but not limited to RSA, OHS and local Council regulations. This will require completion of regular checks and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
