JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and preparing accurate reports to assist in various construction and development projects. This role requires proficiency in CAD software, data management, and GIS applications to ensure precise measurements and effective project planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Licensed as Ontario Land Surveyor with 3-5 years experience
  • Proven experience in land surveying or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and GIS applications (ArcGIS).
  • Strong skills in data collection, management, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with databases for storing survey data is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients and team members.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage data related to topography, boundaries, and property lines.
  • Prepare detailed surveys and reports utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD & Microsurvey.
  • Strong communication and project management of various projects throughout the province
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey results and documentation in databases.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Regulations and Acts
