• experience working in Children Services – ideally OOSH!
• demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant Acts and Regulations
• ability to engage in healthy and positive relationships with school-aged children with a creative mind
• able to demonstrate a genuine passion of working with children or caring for children

Thrive Kids is growing, and we’re excited to expand our team with a passionate OOSH Educator at our Fern Bay OOSH Service! This permanent, part-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Supervisor to help plan, implement, and evaluate engaging programs that support the development of our community’s little humans. With a strong focus on enthusiasm, connection, and creating a safe, nurturing environment, this role is perfect for someone who loves making a positive impact every day.

• This is a permanent opportunity and your core days/hours are as follows: 26.5 hours per week, working 7am to 8:45am and 2:45pm – 6:00pm each day plus administration time.
• You will be required to work split shifts during school terms and consolidated shifts during vacation care and pupil free days.
• Base Hourly Range: $30.95 to $33.57 per hour + 12% superannuation + Broken Shift Allowance + $1,751 retention allowance - rates are based off of the FY24/25 rates and will increase by 4% at the end of July 2025.
