POSITION DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about creating fun, safe, and enriching experiences for children? We’re looking for a qualified OOSH Educator / Responsible Person to join our well-established Abermain service on a permanent part-time basis.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work across our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, supporting children aged 5–12 years. As a valued team member, you’ll help deliver high-quality education and care, fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • OOSH Experience: You’ve worked in Out of School Hours care and understand what it takes to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
  • Tech-Savvy Storyteller: Confident using digital tools to document learning journeys and celebrate children’s growth.
  • Positive Energy: You bring a fun, professional, and reliable attitude to everything you do.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute meaningfully to a supportive team culture.
  • Great Communicator: You connect easily with children, families, and colleagues, building trust and strong relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate III in Children’s Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards and early childhood or Primary Teaching qualification
  • Working with Children Check verification number
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
  • Food Handler Basics Training (desirable)
