• Define and execute the quality strategy for the Cuxhaven factory, ensuring alignment with business objectives over the next 1-3 years.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Management department, fostering a culture of quality and accountability among team members.
• Manage the departmental budget and resources effectively, reporting on quality performance and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
• Serve as the primary contact for all quality-related matters, influencing stakeholders to adopt best practices.
• Oversee the QMS maintenance and compliance with ISO 9000 and other relevant standards, directing audit programs to identify and address areas for improvement.
• Champion continuous improvement through methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, enhancing process efficiency and product quality

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical), Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing quality management, with several years in a leadership role managing teams and departments.
• Proven expertise in quality methodologies such as Six Sigma and ISO 9000, with relevant certifications like Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with a commitment to accountability and change control.
• Experience in the heavy manufacturing, automotive, or renewable energy sectors is highly advantageous.
