Job Description ▪ Set initial performance focus on optimization of Capacity Utilization (cross-Plant); set up, drive and monitor related activities/projects cross-China Plants ▪ Derive initial China Operations Footprint strategy ▪ Analyze & propose footprint related decisions for China Mgmt Board ▪ Drive and monitor overarching footprint goals for manufacturing ▪ Develop, set up and monitor cross-Plant activities/projects for reaching benefits or synergies related VPC, or PEPR, or speed ▪ (Multi-) Project management for OpEx (Operational Excellence) projects ▪ Drive activities for cross-China Plants Optimization of Capacity Utilization ▪ Derive concept for benchmarking against external manufacturing companies (What's really best practice in China market? What to learn from non-Automotive and/or BtP companies? etc) ▪ Form project teams with participants from plants and lead cross-plant communities on defined OpEx priority topics ▪ Regular alignment and exchange with Global AOT Mfg Footprint organization ▪ Ensure proper consideration of China Mfg Footprint topics and China OpEx topics in global rounds and decision making gremiums ▪ Regular report to China Management Board (CMB) and CAMM Qualifications - Solid base understanding of Operations, IE, Plant-Q (Production technology and processes) - Knows existing processes and rules and internal escalation and decision-making structures - Knows the methods, tools and contact persons for managing projects in operations - Knows existing processes and requirements from customers - Supports the implementation of changes following rules and keeping stakeholders up to date -Min. 5 years experience in Production, or R&D, or Quality -Min. 3 years international teamwork experience -Project Mgmt., Change Mgmt. and Problem Resolution Management -Several years experience in leading projects -Capabilities/experience in Strategy development; able to present to high management; -Solid English for international interaction.
