We are currently seeking an experienced Open Pit Supervisor – Load & Haul to join our high-performing team at Woodie Woodie, located 407km southeast of Port Hedland.

The Role
Reporting to the Load & Haul Manager, you will lead and supervise pit operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of the mining plan.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
Deliver weekly to 3-month mining plans in alignment with targets
Supervise daily Load & Haul operations to maximise efficiency and productivity
Monitor and report equipment utilisation, production data, and team performance
Identify and lead improvement initiatives and assist in project work
Participate in labour planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes
Set KPIs, provide coaching, and manage performance for your direct reports
Collaborate across departments to achieve production and safety goals
About You
Previous supervisory experience in open pit mining
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental policies and practices
High level of time management, communication, and computer literacy (MS Office)
Valid Full C class driver’s licence
Statutory Supervisor and Quarry Manager qualifications (preferred)
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and provide a National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
