• To grow our liver center and transplant program.
• MD degree (or equivalent) and experience in clinical hepatology is required.
• Experience in transplant hepatology or separate fellowship for transplant is considered a major plus.
• Management of end stage liver disease, viral hepatitis and and liver cancer constitutes a major part of our inpatient and outpatient practice. UIC is a large liver transplant center and is looking to expand its outreach substantially.
• Academic productivity is expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activity are encouraged to join our established program.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
