Responsibilities

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

In this role, you will provide 2nd and 3rd Line support to Business escalated via the ‘Service Now’ system. You’ll support and maintain OpenShift platform on VMware and Nutanix hardware and build and maintain GitOps pipelines to deploy applications on to OpenShift platform. You will also ensure all Platform Systems are available and meet with Company requirements along with logical and physical security measures. You’ll ensure hardware and software fault calls are placed, managed and resolved according to relevant maintenance contracts and in line with problem management processes. You’ll also build pro-active and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

  • Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree plus 3 years of related experience
  • Skills in the following:
  • Installing, Upgrading, Maintaining and Developing OpenShift platforms which host various range of applications using OpenShift subject matter OC CliYaml scripts, Core OS, Ansible
  • Analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new application on to OpenShift platform using OpenShift subject matter
  • Deploying and managing monitoring, security and logging applications onto OpenShift platform using Advanced Cluster Security (ACS), Stackrox, Sumologic, Dynatrace applications
  • Supporting applications running on OpenShift platform to maintain business continuity, compliant with versions release and regulations
