JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Openreach Civils Gang to join our team. This role involves working on various civil engineering projects related to the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil works and be able to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in excavation, ducting, and reinstatement works is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to civil works.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues as they arise.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

• Carry out excavation, reinstatement, and ducting works as part of the installation process for telecommunications networks.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, following project specifications and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication on-site.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
• Assist in the training of new team members as required.
