Description

Looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer. As our new DevOps Engineer/SRE, you will oversee the specification and documentation of the new project features. In addition, you will be developing new features and writing scripts for automation using Python, Go, Java, Bash. The DevOps Engineer is a specialized developer who is responsible for working closely with Software Engineers in Citi to help them deploy and operate different systems. The DevOps Engineer will standardize routines and unlock efficiency through automation and streamlining of the company's operations and processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will oversee the specification and documentation of the new project features. In addition, you will be developing new features and automated processes using Bash, Python, Terraform, Maven and Kubernetes. Responsibilities: Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation Platform. Engineer, deploy, manage and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure. Develop and maintain Ansible automation to deploy and manage OpenShift containerized infrastructure and applications. Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as compute, storage, network, logging and monitoring. Work closely with application teams and developers ensuring reliability, functionality and performance of container orchestration platform. Engage in the containerized application lifecycle, design, development, operation and decommissioning. Qualifications: Excellent working knowledge of OpenShift with overall 12+ years of experience - Subject Matter Expert. 5 to 8 years of experience in a Systems Administration, Development, Dev Ops Engineering, or related field Should have experience operating in cloud environments Should have experience with Unix/Windows based operating system Must have good knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Team City, Jfrog Artifactory, Urban{code} Deploy) Must have a good working knowledge of source control technologies (Git, Bitbucket) Must have a good working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (python, Go, etc.) Must have experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Experience with terraform is a plus Excellent working knowledge of key computer science concepts (networking, operating systems, storage, virtualization, containerization, etc.). Excellent understanding of Software Engineering concepts like Software Development Life Cycle and GitOps. Excellent debugging and analytical skills: ability to isolate root cause across networking/infrastructure, application and database stacks.
