Responsibilities

As a Operability and Shaft line integration Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting the customer specifications,
  • Ensuring Control Philosophy conceptual study, Machine Operability requirement for control, Plant modelling and machine operation optimization,
  • Implementing customized features through System Dynamic Simulation validation for BH IET projects.
  • Managing the shaft line integration of mechanical drive and power generation applications
  • Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects.
  • Delivery of projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages.
  • Executing projects to support technology portfolio strategy.
  • Coordinating closely with Discipline, Research, and Testing teams as needed

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Have strong problem solving skills.
  • Be fluent both in English and Italian
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
