WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join our dynamic team at Lumenwerx. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and run of CNC machines to produce high-quality lighting fixtures, contributing directly to our mission of delivering innovative lighting solutions.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery
  • Experience in 5 axis machining.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc and Mazak controls, both lathe and milling.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and precision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Work on various new machines
  • Machining of metal parts to be used in the assembly of light fixtures
  • Setup machinery according to production specifications and drawings
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings
  • Inspect machined parts according to drawing requirements
  • Manage equipment maintenance
  • Execute various tasks based on internal requirements.
