JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Technician to join our fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical teams by ensuring that the operating room is prepared and maintained for various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and infection control practices. Previous LENSX training, preferred.

SKILLS

  • Medical terminology related to surgery and patient care.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Knowledge of physiology to assist in understanding surgical procedures and patient needs.
  • Experience working in Ambulatory Surgery Centers, preferred.
  • Ability to operate various systems used in the operating room efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with surgical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure during emergency situations.
