Job Summary: Performs a variety of patient care services and activities for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment in the Perioperative Division. Required Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or GED Licensure: N/A Experience: N/A Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, and families in a professional manner; to provide for safety and confidentiality in all situations; and, to acquire techniques necessary for the operating room including, but not limited to, sterility and equipment usage. The individual must be flexible and be able to work calmly in an emergency situation. The individual should be dependable to work with little supervision, but able to take directions from others. Preferred Qualifications: Education: N/A Licensure: N/A Experience: One year experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room. One year hospital experience in related field. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Computer skills.

Responsibilities

Performs patient care services and activities to maintain a safe and clean environment within the Perioperative Division. Assists with operating room techniques including sterility and equipment usage while working calmly in emergency situations.
