ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Lovelace Regional Hospital in Roswell, New Mexico. This is a structured daytime OR position within a focused 4-room surgical suite supporting a diverse surgical case mix. Ideal for confident, seasoned OR nurses comfortable circulating in a fast-paced perioperative setting. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-Week Contract • Day Shift – 5x8 (06:30–15:00) • 4 Operating Rooms • Approx. 10 cases per day • 1:1 patient ratio • Call Required (nights/weekends) • Epic charting SURGICAL CASE MIX • General Surgery • Orthopedics (including total joints) • ENT • Urology • Gynecology • Ophthalmology COMPENSATION Strong weekly travel compensation package available. Tax-advantaged stipends and full breakdown provided during recruiter consultation. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Active New Mexico RN license or Compact license (required at submission) • Minimum 5 years recent OR experience • Previous travel experience required • Epic experience required • ACLS, BLS, PALS required • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius Applications are submitted by Heartline Staffing and securely processed through our Strategic Talent Partner, Purple Cow Recruiting.

Responsibilities

This role involves working as a travel Registered Nurse in a structured, 4-room Operating Room suite supporting a diverse surgical case mix, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology. The nurse will be responsible for circulating duties in a fast-paced perioperative setting, requiring comfort with approximately 10 cases per day on a 5x8 day shift schedule.
