This position is responsible for coordinating the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of all necessary materials to support surgical teams efficiently and without interruption. The coordinator works closely with surgical staff, vendors, and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels and to anticipate the needs of upcoming procedures. By managing supply logistics and documentation accurately, this role directly contributes to patient safety and the overall success of surgical operations. The Operating Room Supply Coordinator must maintain a high level of organization and communication to support a fast-paced, high-stakes clinical setting effectively. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field preferred.. * Familiarity with medical terminology and operating room procedures. * Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a hospital or surgical environment. * Certification in supply chain management or healthcare logistics (e.g., CPSM, CHL). * Knowledge of regulatory standards such as Joint Commission or OSHA related to healthcare supplies. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. * Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support supply chain decisions.
