Your Opportunity:
The successful candidate will primarily work in the Operating Room (OR), with additional responsibilities in Acute Care, the Emergency Department (ER), and Obstetrics as required. Located in the “Heart of Alberta,” Stettler is situated approximately 179 km southeast of Edmonton and 101 km east of Red Deer. As a regional hub, it serves a trading area of over 11,000 residents. The town offers a wide range of amenities, including an elementary/junior high school, a composite high school, a public library, twin arenas, an aquatic centre, a performing arts theatre, and several golf courses. Buffalo Lake, a popular recreational destination, is also nearby. Stettler Hospital features a 26-bed Medical/Surgical Inpatient Unit, which includes one palliative care suite, two labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) suites, and two monitored close observation beds. The facility also houses an eight-bed Emergency Department and supports a comprehensive Surgical and Endoscopy Program. Successful candidates will be expected to provide care across multiple departments, including Acute Care, Emergency, Operating Room, and Obstetrics.
