Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Assist the surgical team during operations as a scrub or circulating nurse, according to experience and assignment.
• Follow surgical safety and patient identification protocols.
• Monitor patients’ condition and provide appropriate nursing care before and after procedures.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete nursing documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and operating theatre protocols.
• Check and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Support safe patient transfer and handover to the recovery area.
• Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing.
• Valid DHA nursing license or DHA eligibility, as applicable.
• Previous experience working as an Operating Theatre Nurse is required.
• Good knowledge of DHA regulations, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Day surgery experience is preferred.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
