We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented logistics and operation executive to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our internal heavy truck drivers, including the external drivers, ensuring the timely and compliant cross-border shipment of our clients’ cargo. This role requires strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to record-keeping, and a commitment to operational efficiency and safety.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, with a strong focus on fleet management and cross-border transportation, preferably within the UAE.
  • Proven experience in managing internal drivers and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Excellent understanding of UAE road rules and regulations pertaining to heavy vehicles and cross-border shipments.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems or similar logistics management software for data entry and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Accountable for the on-time delivery of cross-border shipments by internal heavy truck drivers.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all shipment data entered into the ERP system.
  • Accountable for ensuring internal drivers’ compliance with UAE regulations and company HSE policies.
  • Accountable for the timely acquisition and submission of PODs.

Authorities:

  • Authority to communicate directly with internal heavy truck drivers regarding shipment instructions, timelines, and compliance.
  • Authority to request and verify shipment documentation from drivers (e.g., PODs, customs papers).
  • Authority to escalate non-compliance or critical issues to the management.
  • Authority to access and update shipment information within the ERP system.
