Description

SAIC is seeking a highly organized and motivated leader with a diverse set of engineering technician, asset management, and/or logistical skills to serve as the Operations Lead for a fleet of trailers used to transport explosive assets and related equipment. This will support the US Navy in Crane, IN. Job Responsibilities: · Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and will report technical and programmatic information to project stakeholders. · Work in a team environment with Government and SAIC engineers to design, development, test and implement modern systems for the U.S. Navy. ·Monitor inspection intervals and coordinate with SAIC, Government, and local vendors to ensure inspection cycles are met without impacting mission needs. · Play a pivotal role in facilitating the transfer of technology and technical information between SAIC and the U.S. Navy. ·Serve as our technical expert and on-site representative, you will drive collaboration and ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and processes to ensure mission requirements are met. Required Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted. · Interim Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process. · Must be able to work with schematics and engineering drawings · Must have the ability to investigate and troubleshoot problems on operational hardware and software · Must have ability to effectively communicate issues to technical team through verbal communication and technical reports. Preferred Experience: · Hydraulic and Electrical background
