Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – EPC to oversee the operational aspects of our EPC projects. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring successful delivery of projects, from engineering through procurement to construction. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic oversight, and a focus on efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Project Oversight: Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of EPC projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, procurement specialists, and construction professionals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Continuously improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity across all phases of the EPC lifecycle.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects meet or exceed safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a culture of safety across the team and with subcontractors.
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring projects are adequately staffed and well-supported.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring the effective use of resources and controlling costs. Monitor financial performance and report on project status to senior leadership.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks to project schedules or budgets and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance, milestones, and financial updates to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, identifying opportunities to innovate and improve performance across the board.
