Description
Provide strong technical leadership, development and mentorship to ACS team members. Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all Quality requirements. Demonstrate understanding and complies with quality and EH&S procedures. Communicate any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to Supervisor. Effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines. Ensure accuracy of data input to Maintenance systems (e.g.: BM RAM, Knowledgebase). Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on BM RAM maintenance system. Minimise downtime on Equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and good problem-solving techniques. Prioritise high Impacting equipment downtime issues in Production Unit. Issue Incident Reports on these issues as appropriate. Ensure any follow-up activities associated with the issue are documented and closed out effectively. Liaise with area supervisor / Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer to understand equipment down priorities. Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems. Take lead on Identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects. Generate / Edit Maintenance procedures / knowledge sharing documents to reflect work practice. Assists with the assessment of equipment spares requirements. Act as a mentor / trainer of other Maintenance Tech's. Co-ordinate and communicate high impacting equipment / safety issues. HETAC Level 6 Qualified in a relevant area with 2-5 years' experience. Must be highly proficient in all of the following: Allen Bradley PLC's, Electrical (including high voltage), PC software & hardware troubleshooting, Parker motion control and vacuum systems. Have 3 to 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician troubleshooting PC hardware, software and automated control systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record. Strong interpersonal and communication / presentation skills. Ability to work on own with minimum supervision. A proven history of controls systems debug & upgrade work. Experience in identifying and leading continuous improvement projects.
